Eric Vandervelde aka DER, is a French painter and street artist. In 1989, Der painted for the first time on walls in Toulouse. Inspired by the graffiti movement from which he creates his wild signature lettering style named Calli-graffiti. In 1994, he became the first artist to use 3D in Street-art. Member of the now defunct "Truskool", Der works today with the "LeClub" collective known for their many murals, but also solo, developing his international career. In recent years, he collaborated with prominent brands such as Coca-Cola or Adidas that establish him on the international scene. Flexible, organic and colorful, his letters reflect an energetic and hypnotic calligraphic art. His transition to canvas is the obvious follow-up to the work on walls.
