LU Hao 呂浩

LU Hao was a painter during the Qing Dynasty. He was a native of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. He excelled in landscape painting, particularly in ink wash painting. He drew inspiration from the Yuan Dynasty masters, as well as various artists from the Wu School of the Ming Dynasty and the Four Wangs of the early Qing Dynasty, positioning himself within the orthodox traditions of Ming and Qing painting. His brushwork was precise, and his style exhibited a strict and solemn demeanor. His ink technique was refined and thick, imbued with a deep, rich, and warm atmosphere.
